Melissa is completing her MFA in Creative Nonfiction Writing through Bay Path University in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. Her goal at the Book Den is to become more familiar with the relationship between independent bookstores with writers and the publishing industry.

All of the Book Den staff have enjoyed spending time with Melissa and explaining all it takes to run a full-service independent book store.
